What is 55% galvalume steel coil:
galvalume steel plate is a kind of alloy composed of aluminized zinc alloy structure, which is composed of 55% aluminum, 43% zinc and 2% silicon solidified at 600℃. The whole structure is composed of aluminized iron, silicon and zinc, forming dense tetrad junction crystal. Aluminium-zinc plated steel plate has many excellent characteristics: strong corrosion resistance, is 3 times of pure galvanized plate; The surface is decorated with beautiful zinc flowers, which can be used as a building exterior panel. The corrosion resistance of “galvalume steel coil” is mainly due to aluminum, aluminum’s protective function. As the zinc wears away, the aluminum forms a dense layer of aluminum oxide that prevents corrosion resistance from further corroding the interior. Aluminum zinc alloy steel plate has good heat resistance, can withstand the high temperature of more than 300 degrees Celsius, and aluminum plated steel plate high temperature oxidation resistance is very similar, often used in chimney tubes, ovens, illuminators and solar lampshades. Aluminium-zinc steel plate has a high thermal reflectivity, twice that of galvanized steel plate, and is often used as an insulating material. Because the density of 55% Al-Zn is lower than that of Zn, the area of the galvalume steel plate is more than 3% larger than that of the plated plate under the condition of the same weight and the same thickness of the gold-plating layer.
